Kris Peter Kris Peter is an Australian watercolour artist who shows us the beauty of natural objects - shells and rocks, birds and their feathers, a segment of tree trunk or a simple gumleaf.

Passion about the environment and the beauty of the Victorian Surf Coast are her key inspirations.  Kris's painting subjects vary from a simple gum leaf, shell or sweep of beach to the intricacy suggested by her delicate, yet strong bird paintings.  Kris hopes to share her joy in the simplicity and beauty of natural objects with us.  She has also worked with Australian birds in a truly hands-on way and it certainly adds to life experience as well as being very rewarding.

Specialist retailers in New Zealand sell limited edition giclee reproductions of Kris's albatross series of paintings.

Kris is a keen supporter of International Fund for Animal Welfare and a % of the proceeds of her paintings is given to IFAW.   She is a member of Birds Australia, the Australian Guild of Realist Artists, Wildlife Art Society of Australasia and Watercolour Society of Victoria.
